Ultra Violet Water Purifier System

Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection is the proven way to safeguard your family’s drinking water. Ultra Violet Light casually referred to as U.V. is a well known germicide widely used in residential, pharmaceutical, food, processing and laboratory applications. U.V. is lethal to bacteria, viruses and many disease causing water borne microorganisms (See chart regarding bacteria on reverse side) and is rapidly gaining appreciation as an alternative to chlorination for Point of Entry (P.O.E. = Total Home) Disinfection. There are different size and volume of Ultra Violet Water Purifier System.

This process is effective in killing microorganisms. Virtually all microorganisms are susceptible to U.V. disinfection. The water enters the U.V. chamber and flows into the annular “kill” space between the quartz sleeve and the outside chamber wall. There is no chemical in this process and there is no chlorine taste or corrosion problems as well.
